Plates are weighted and quite substantial (2.9lbs combined) with a glossy high glaze stoneware for durability. Will mix and match so well with any other period design styles or colors to enhance your dining experience!
Saucers are in excellent condition! The usual light pre-loved surface utensil wear, grazing and a couple of plates with a tiny dings to under rims here and there from years of adding flair to Ethels tasty treats, but nothing that truly distracts from these retro fabulous treasures!

We purchase from estate sales, individuals, fleamarkets and antique stores. We do our best to offer pristineinventory, in clean as a whistle condition for our buyers, however wedo not wash fragile items, as not to damage any finishes which maymean that they could be dusty from years of storage.
We are proud of our speedy shipping and always offer same day/nextday shipping upon receipt of payment. We are also known for ourpride in gorilla proof packaging (especially fragile items) and onoccasion will use excellent condition recycled packing materials too.This helps keep our shipping prices lower and helps the environmentfor a win-win!
Unfortunately with shipping it is all about location, so sometimesshipping from our east coast location to the west coast, the costshave risen significantly in recent years, so we are always open toutilizing various couriers other than standard postal service to helpsave money!
