Voici un encrier Doulton Lambeth, Victorien du 19ème siècle, encrier très rare et difficile à trouver, fabriqué par Doulton Lambeth vers les années 1890. Pour son âge, la condition est plus que superbe. Il nest pas excessivement orné, ce qui ajoute à sa beauté en tant quœuvre dart intemporelle.

Lère Victorienne, une période remarquable, avec son essor de lindustrie et de linvention, et des styles décoratifs variés mais reconnaissables. Cest durant cette période quun des encriers les plus captivants a été fabriqué - l‘Isobath', réalisé pour la société De La Rue par Doulton à Lambeth, Londres. De La Rue sont peut-être mieux connus pour avoir imprimé de nombreux billets de banque britanniques, certificats et carnets de chèques.
